Terms of Use

Last updated:

These terms are the agreement between you and Sarfo (sarfo.uz) for using the Sarfo mobile, web and desktop apps. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your data.

Accepting these terms

By installing or using Sarfo, or by creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service

Sarfo is a personal money tracker: it lets you record expenses and income, keep accounts and budgets, and see reports. It is available as an Android app, as a web app at https://sarfo.uz/app and as a desktop app.

Sarfo works without an account, keeping your data on your device. An optional account lets you sync data between your devices. We keep improving the service, so features may be added, changed or removed over time.

Free of charge

Sarfo is free to use. There are currently no purchases, subscriptions or payments in the app, and no ads.

Some features are marked “PRO” and labelled as beta. They are open to everyone for now, but they are still being developed and may change, become limited or be withdrawn. If paid features are ever introduced, their price and terms will be shown clearly in advance, and you will never be charged without your explicit consent.

Your account

If you create an account, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date;
  • keep your password secret and not share your account — you are responsible for what is done through it;
  • use each account for one person only, and not create accounts in someone else’s name or without their permission.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you think someone else has access to your account, change your password and write to support@sarfo.uz.

Acceptable use

Use Sarfo only for lawful, personal purposes. In particular, you must not:

  • abuse the service, overload it, or interfere with how it works for others;
  • access it with bots, scrapers or other automated means, other than through the apps as we provide them;
  • try to break or bypass its security, gain access to other people’s accounts or data, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission;
  • use it to store or send unlawful content, or in a way that violates the rights of others.

If you find a security problem, please report it to support@sarfo.uz.

Your data

The data you enter into Sarfo belongs to you, and we claim no ownership of it. When you use sync, you allow us to store, transmit and process your data only as far as needed to provide the service to you — for example, to deliver it to your other devices.

How we handle personal data is described in detail in our Privacy Policy.

Not financial advice

Sarfo is a record-keeping tool. Nothing in the app — including reports, budgets, calculations and reminders — is financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Decisions about your money are yours; for professional advice, consult a qualified specialist.

Exchange rates are shown for information only. They come from a third-party source, may be delayed or inaccurate, and should not be relied on for real transactions.

Backups and data loss

Data kept only on your device is lost if the device is lost or broken, the app is uninstalled or the browser’s site data is cleared. You are responsible for keeping backups of data that matters to you — for example, by regularly exporting a backup file from Settings → Data, or by using sync.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Sarfo is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it reliable and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, free of errors or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Sarfo is not liable for loss of data, or for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages — including lost profits or savings — arising from the use of the service or the inability to use it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms or is used to harm the service or other people, or where the law requires it. Where we can, we will tell you why.

You can stop using Sarfo at any time and delete your account in the app or on the web. How deletion works, and what happens to your data, is explained at https://sarfo.uz/en/delete-account.

Third-party services

Some parts of Sarfo rely on other companies’ services. Google sign-in is governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy, and an app downloaded from an app store, such as Google Play, is also subject to that store’s rules. We are not responsible for those services.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last update, and significant changes will also be announced in the app. By continuing to use Sarfo after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Disputes are resolved first by negotiation and, if that fails, in the manner established by the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
